Enrollment Criteria

• Must be a licensed minister
• If you are non-licensed, must be employed by the Church of God and work at least 30 hours per week.

• Spouse Insurance: If a minister retires or dies, and the surviving spouse is unable to secure other insurance and has not remarried, she will be permitted to continue in the state program for a period of six months by paying the premium, less the 23.5% that the state office will pay. Anyone continuing coverage beyond this period will be responsible for the timely payment of the full premium. He/she can remain in the group until age sixty-five when beginning Medicare.
